Senior Trademark Attorney/Of Counsel
JIPL seeks a trademark attorney having at least five (5) years relevant experience in trademark law, particularly, trademark clearance, preparation, and prosecution. Candidates should be licensed to practice in one or more DC, MD, and Virginia. Responsibilities include assisting the firm in management of client trademark portfolios (global and domestic).
IP Administrator (Junior-to-Senior Level Experience)
JIPL seeks an intellectual property administrator/secretary having 3+ years of IP prosecution experience for a full-time (FT) position at its North Silver Spring office. The IP Administrator/Secretary will work closely with attorneys, and be responsible for supporting patent and trademark prosecution. Individuals having an ability to work in a team environment, and whom also exhibit exceptional customer service, strong communication skills, a proven track record, and an ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects would be a great match.

JIPL seeks a patent attorney or agent with a Ph.D, M.S., or B.S. in electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, or physics. Successful candidates should be registered to practice before the USPTO, and have at least eight years experience in patent preparation and prosecution. Candidates having original patent application drafting experience in electrical and/or software related technologies are eligible to telework/telecommute.
Senior Bio/Chem/Pharma Patent Attorney/Senior Patent Counsel/Principal
JIPL seeks a patent attorney having a Ph.D or M.S. in biochemistry, chemistry, or chemical engineering. Successful candidates should be registered to practice before the USPTO, and have at least eight years experience in patent preparation, prosecution, and opinion drafting. Candidates having original patent application drafting experience in the fields of vaccines, antibodies, small molecules, food technology, or consumer products are eligible to telework/telecommute.
