Mr. Lynch is Senior Patent Counsel to the firm, and is involved in all aspects of patent law, including patent counseling and portfolio management.
Jim’s technical experiences range throughout the electrical, mechanical, and chemical arts, with a focus in the areas of video coders, perceptual computing (including facial recognition, lip reading, and eye tracing), 3D graphic user interfaces, color mapping, image rendering, cloud image storage, processor scheduler dispatching, semiconductor processing, integrated circuit packaging, solar cells, rechargeable batteries, wireless communication networks, medical devices, RFID-based devices, search engines, cryptography, electronic image processing, and document scanners.
Before joining JIPL, Jim was President of the Lynch Law Patent Group, P.C. He has represented numerous Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies through a range of legal service including patent preparation and prosecution, patent litigation, patentability opinions, as well as validity and infringement opinions.
