Mr. D'Hue, Of Counsel at JIPL, is involved in all aspects of patent law, including patent strategy, procurement, and counseling.

With three science degrees, Cedric performed preparation and prosecution throughout chemistry including polymers, cocrystals, rocket propellant, food additives, and analytical instrumentation, biotech/life sciences including kinase biosensors, medical devices including range of motion rehabilitation, and braces, and basic mechanical including combustion engine cooling system, Walkie Talkie cover, survival equipment, and fishing equipment.

Mr. D’Hue holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Tufts University, an M.S. in Analytical Chemistry from Purdue University (IUPUI campus), and a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Purdue University (West Lafayette campus).  As a Masters student, Mr. D’Hue focused on computer simulations of a Diels-Alder cycloaddition using stereospecific chiral catalysts.  As a PhD student, he focused on screening cancer by desorption electrospray ionization (DESI) mass spectrometry imaging using multivariate statistical analysis of mass spectra to statistically differentiate cancer and non-cancerous tissue in dog bladder cancer (urothetial cell carcinoma, aka transitional cell carcinoma "TCC") and human oral squamous cell carcinoma. 

Mr. D’Hue previously worked as an associate attorney at a regional U.S. law firm, and several years at his own law firm, prior to joining the firm.
